6. MIBARU AND FUKUSHU EN

"Mibaru" beach at south Okinawa -main island- is a beautiful beach. Glass bottom boat can give you a ride to see the fish variety.

I repeated a visit to Fukushu En Park in Naha downtown, a traditional chinese garden built in 1992 in honor of Naha's sister city of Fuzhou (China) reminding scenic topics of that city.

Quiet life, laid back at least...

...until a monster appear.

So at the sunset I went to Gokoku ji, a buddhist temple founded in 1367.

Beside Naminoue beach the only one in Naha downtown.  I have been here also but always worthy. I like repeat.

5. COLORFUL KOKUSAI DORI in NAHA

The Okinawa prefectural Museum is a modern buliding (2007) designed with the imagery of Okinawa's castles in mind, named gusukus.
I showed some of this fortress on my previous work two years ago :

Always interesting to visit, nowadays performs a Maria Antonieta about exhibition.

It is not art, or perhaps...  Yes! It is also art.

Not far from the Museum  -anywhere-  a "soba Okinawa style".

and some minutes later...

Kokusai dori / Colorful dori

Two years ago on this same month, in coincidence with the Fukushima tragedy I was here. Then and now -two years later- I can´t not forget a mourning.

Different point, also in the writings at that time and now I want to reflect my sensation of extreme color I had / I have always in Japon but even more here, in Okinawa.

Beni imo and dragoons begins giving color and shape to this tiny part of the world. Shamisen gives the sound and people do the rest.
