21. ISE AND OYAMAZAKI

Maybe the only connexion among both places apart from its relative vicinity was this beer ISE, and the SINTO beer produced by microbreweries...

In Oyamazaki inside an old mansion british style it is the "Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Museum".

The old mansion holds a great pottery collection belonged to the first president of Asahi, Yamamoto Tamesaburo.

Monet and Noguchi among others are in the new hall designed by Ando Tadao.

Both buildings are surrended by wonderful gardens.

Following with alcohol in a higher degree, call spirit drink, it is the Suntory factory where some whiskies such as Tory´s , Nikka, Yamazaki and of course Suntory are reviewed on its history.
And some of them tasted after the tour.

Following day I visited Ise.
Not spirit... but spiritual place.
There are place for both sides.

And at the top the leaves touch each other.

Beer and whisky receive the esence from the most precious element : the water.

This carp as well as the huge tree above belong to Ise complex.

A modern museum "Sengukan" explain the continuos renovation "Shikinen Sengu", every 20 years up to this 62nd on 2013.

The village of Ise helds very intersting old houses with peculiar business such as "sake producers" and "cha-an" houses.

"Meoto Iwa" is to me a powerful place.
Nature under japanese mithologie, Izanagi e Izanami married. This rocks and the Jingu are the most important Shinto locations.
